Judy Palm captured this beautiful picture of the sun rising off North Beach Wednesday morning.
I'm not sure if you've noticed, but North Beach has really become a go-to place for many of you to take pictures for our Photo of the Day.
That trend will likely continue today, too, due to a "King Tide," which could bring 12-foot waves to the area around noon as part of one of the two days each year when the Earth, moon and sun align and maximize the gravitational forces to produce extreme tides and currents.
