Photo of the Day

Yes, the picture above shows green grass, and no, it's not Photoshopped. It does feel a little strange, though, to be thinking about New Year's countdowns while there's still plenty of green around the area — but I'm sure it isn't really that disappointing for some of you.

There are some, though, who can't wait for the snow, such as Kali Slauter's dog Buffy (pictured above). It'll likely come soon, although hopefully this winter's slow start doesn't give way to massive blizzards and ice storms like other recent years.

What do you think? What do you expect for snowfall this winter? Do you wish there was snow now, or do you enjoy having a chance to keep the shovels in storage for a little longer?
