Martha Lardent got a surprise during a recent trip to the beach, as she found a painted turtle "alive" and "kicking" in the surf.
Lardent took the little guy to the Taylor River to give him a less-turbulent home, although before doing so she did snap a few photos of the habitat-jumping reptile, which we here at Patch greatly appreciate.
