Places Open on Christmas Day in Hampton, North Hampton

While most Hampton and North Hampton public and governmental buildings, schools and offices, as well as some businesses, are closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and other upcoming holidays, not all of Hampton and North Hampton is following suit.

Here is a list of some of the shops and restaurants open during the holidays:

• Defiant Lobster Company in Hampton will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve (Monday, Dec. 24), closed on Christmas Day (Tuesday, Dec. 25), and open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both New Year's Eve (Monday, Dec. 31) and New Year's Day (Tuesday, Jan. 1).
• Tracy Theatre Originals' Unique Boutique will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, but will be closed on both Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
• J&M Unique Gift Creations (formally the Seacoast Soap Company) will be open on Christmas Eve from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will provide complimentary gift wrapping, according to the business. The store will also be open on New Year's Eve from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
• Marelli's Market will be open on Christmas Eve until 6 p.m. and closed on Christmas Day. The store will be open on New Year's Eve until 6 p.m. and open on New Year's Day.
• Savory Square Bistro will be open on New Year's Eve for a one-seating, 5+ course meal at 6:30 p.m. The meal is $60 per person. The menu and more information is available on the restaurant's website.
• The 401 Tavern will be open on Christmas Eve from normal hours to midnight and on Christmas Day from 4 p.m. to midnight.
