Plane that Crashed was Heading to Hampton from Beverly

Breaking: Hampton Police: Pilot sustained only minor injuries.

HAMPTON, NH — The plane that crashed in Hampton earlier today was heading to Hampton Airfield from Beverly, MA, according to police. The plane crashed at just before 12:30 p.m. in the area of Reddington Landing.

Hampton Police and Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene.

“The pilot of the aircraft was treated at the scene by Hampton Fire and sustained only minor injuries,” according to Deputy Chief David Hobbs of the Hampton Police Department. “There was no other property damage as a result of the crash.”

The aircraft is listed as a Fisher Celebrity and was reportedly coming from Beverly to the airfield, he noted.

The Federal Aviation Admission (FAA) has been notified of the plane crash and is the investigating agency, Hobbs stated, adding that no further information was available.
