Plummer: Innis Will Stand With Law Enforcement

Letter writer was happy to see the Legislature pass Granite Hammer but wants more action, harshest punishments against drug dealers.

Substance abuse is a real problem here on the Seacoast. Heroin, prescription drugs, and alcohol abuse are destroying our families. I believe we need to work on expanding recovery programs because people need the help. We need to educate our youth so they can make better decisions, and we need harsher punishment for dealers and habitual offenders.

I was happy to see the Legislature pass Granite Hammer, but I want to see more action taken. I want the harshest punishments possible for drug dealers that are selling this poison to our kids, and the same goes for repeat drunk drivers that make our neighborhood streets so dangerous.

I have met Dan Innis, and I have heard him talk about the need to have a comprehensive approach to solving this heroin epidemic, and the need to fully support our law enforcement community. I am supporting Dan Innis for New Hampshire Senate, he is the only candidate in this race that I think will stand by law enforcement and will do something to the fight substance abuse problem in our state.
