Seacoast State Senator Strikes Pedestrian with Car
The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

State Sen. Martha Fuller Clark (D-Portsmouth) reportedly hit a pedestrian with her vehicle on Friday night.
Portsmouth Police said they responded to a report of an accident involving a car and a pedestrian at the corner of Maplewood Avenue and Hanover Street at 8:39 p.m. Friday.
During the investigation, it was determined that a silver Audi driven by Fuller Clark, 70, of 152 Middle St. went over the curb onto the sidewalk on Maplewood Avenue and struck a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk from behind.
The pedestrian, Carla Dow, 67, of 25 Goose Point Road, Kittery Point, ME was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Her condition was not immediately known.
Portsmouth Police said Fuller Clark was not injured in the accident and there were no passengers in the car. There were no indications that Clark was impaired or under the influence of intoxicating substances.
