Program - Pretty Halcyon Days: On the Beach with Ogden Nash

Join the Hampton Historical Society on Sunday, November 2 at 2 PM at St. James Lodge, 77 Tide Mill Road, Hampton

The Hampton Historical Society has received a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council to present Pretty Halcyon Days: On the Beach with Ogden Nash.

The Pontine Theatre explores the way in which Nash’s life on the NH seacoast influenced his poems giving insight into his ideas about family, society and nature. This is a NHHC Signature 40 event celebrating their 40th Anniversary, and as part of this event poems relating to the seacoast area will be on display.
