Rebelution Plays Hampton Beach Tonight

Santa Barbara, Calif., band Rebelution will take their high energy live show to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom tonight as part of their Give Thanks Tour, which runs through the month of October.

The 14-city headlining tour began on Oct. 10 in Syracuse, N.Y., and will run through Oct. 26 with stops in New Haven, Baltimore and Louisville, among others.

The Give Thanks Tour will also feature Passafire and Through The Roots. Fans have the chance to win a number of prizes including the “Jam With The Band” contest where fans can upload video covers of Rebelution songs for a chance to jam with the band on the day of the show.

Other contests are being run through Instagram, Twitter and Foursquare with prizes including signed posters, show tickets and albums. After parties will be set up in most of the venues giving ticket holders additional personal time with the band.

"After a really busy summer tour, festivals and now Hawaii, we are looking forward to continuing our annual ‘Give Thanks Tour’ this Fall with good friends Passafire and Through The Roots. The tour follows a whirlwind year for the band who kicked off 2012 with the release of their third full length studio album, "Peace of Mind," through their own label, 87 Music, with partner Controlled Substance Sound Labs. The album had the highest chart debut of the band’s career at No. 13 on the Billboard Top 200.

Rebelution also completed a 42 city headlining national tour earlier this year selling out venues such as Hollywood Palladium, Denver’s The Fillmore, The Fox Theatre in Oakland and Congress Theatre in Chicago.  This summer saw them supporting O.A.R. and performing to tens of thousands of fans at festivals across the country including Outside Lands, Forecastle, Doheny Days, and Summerset.

Rebelution is at the forefront for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups with a sound that crosses genres and styles. The band was formed in 2004 by Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) when they met in college.

Residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara, Rebelution began to create the inspiring and engaging music they are known for today. The band continuously tours across the country, has ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.
