Hi everyone, the month of February 2014 must have been a frustrating one as the recycling rate went down to 29%. That is quite a difference from January’s which was 35%. Perhaps the amount of snow we had played a factor, people may have decided to not put their carts out. There is also the frustration for the DPW that is trying to pick up trash and plow. The carts were not being picked up in a timely manner which was an issue this winter. Thank goodness it is almost Spring, we will be having nice weather and hopefully getting back on track with recycling! Thank you all for your efforts! We need to save our Mother Earth for our children and their children and so on......
