Republican Liberty Caucus of NH Backs Kenda
Organization says he is candidate who is best for District 24 state Senate seat.

State Senate candidate Steve Kenda has been endorsement by the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire, according to a press statement.
The Republican who is running for the District 24 state Senate seat, which covers Hampton and North Hampton, as well as other Seacoast towns, was chosen due to his opposition to the Affordable Care Act and Medicare expansion in the Granite State, according to a press statement.
“In recent years a growing handful of establishment Republicans have managed to get elected to the state legislature through false pretenses,” said Aaron Day, Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire. “Some have masqueraded as fiscally conservative - signing pledges not to raise taxes and then immediately voting for bloated government spending once elected. They have hidden their true views from voters long enough.”

Kenda is challenging state Sen. Nancy Stiles, R-Hampton, one of eight Republicans in the state Senate who voted to expand Medicare. The winner will take on Chris Muns of Hampton, who is running as a Democrat.
Day said, in a statement, that a number of incumbents establishment picks “represent politics-as-usual: content to tax and spend with impunity, and at the peril of future generations.” Members of the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire are not content with the status quo and seek to support candidates who will stand for pro-liberty values, he said.
