Hampton’s , and families and friends have been collecting Box Tops from a variety of products including snacks, frozen foods, cereals and yogurt for a few years now and they are inviting the Hampton community members to help them by donating their Box Tops.
According to Marston School Principal Lois Costa she feels “This is a wonderful way to provide enriching education opportunities to our students and extend the curriculum. Without this money, we could not provide all the programs we currently do.”
The Box Tops are turned in to the Hampton School Administrative Unit 90 schools and they turn them into General Mills. General Mills then sends the school a check that can only be used for educational and enrichment programs.

Centre School Principal Timothy Lannan states “Some examples of the programs that we have been able to offer include Arithmatickles, Mainly Stars Planetarium, a bully program and Centre School’s field day activities.”
For the school year 2011/2012 all three Hampton schools combined have raised over $5,700 in Box Top funds.
It is easy and doesn’t cost a thing to drop off the Box Tops at the local drop box locations. When asked what future programs that they think Box Tops would help with, Vice Principal Andrea Shepard says the funds would help the Academy in “Purchasing supplies and new pieces of technology for our classrooms, library and after school clubs.”
