Rockingham Sheriffs Arrest Alleged NH Drug Dealer

Barry Gallant of Manchester was arrested last week on numerous charges by a county task force after alleged incidents in the county.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested an alleged drug dealer last week on numerous charges after alleged incidents in Candia, Epping, and Raymond, according to police. Barry L. Gallant, 50, of Manchester Street in Manchester, was arrested on Sept. 12, 2017, on two counts of sale of a controlled drug-cocaine, a single count of possession with intent to distribute-cocaine, two simple assault charges, resisting arrest, obstructing government operations, and falsifying evidence. At the time of the arrest, according to a press statement from Sheriff Michael Hureau, Gallant was on parole.

Task Force Officers from Epping, Raymond, Seabrook and Windham and Rockingham County Deputies assisted with the investigation.

Gallant is currently being held on $100,000 cash bail at the Rockingham County Jail.
