Seabrook Woman Died Due To Smoke Inhalation
NH Fire Marshal's Office: The manner of Lynette Maryea's death on Thursday is still under investigation.
CONCORD, NH — A fire in a manufactured home on Centennial Street in Seabrook took the life of a 42-year-old woman on Thursday.
The New Hampshire Fire Marshal’s Office said Lynette Maryea died due to smoke inhalation. Firefighters discovered her body after being called to the home around 3:30 a.m. for a report of a structure fire.
“Seabrook Fire and Police departments responded to the scene and encountered a dwelling with heavy fire coming from the front of the structure,” Adam Fanjoy, a deputy fire marshal, said. “During suppression efforts, a victim was located in the residence deceased. There were no other injuries.”

The manner of Maryea’s death is still pending further investigation. The origin and cause of the fire, too, is still an “active and ongoing” investigation by the fire marshal’s office, New Hampshire State Police, and the Seabrook Fire and Police departments, according to Fanjoy.
State Fire Marshal Sean Toomey said it was important to have working smoke alarms in all homes. In the event of a fire, immediately exit the home and call 911. Keep exits clear of debris and have a home fire escape plan, he said.
