The Seacoast 10s advanced to a matchup against Newtown, CT Tuesday with a strong win over Cranston, RI sunday 11-2. Winning pitcher Jake Elbeery had a great day going 4.2 innings, allowing only 2 runs, and going 3 for 4 at the plate. Zach Simone also had a banner day hitting, going 3 for 3 with an amazing 3-RBI infield home run that blew the game open. Mike Michaud closed it out pitching and also had a great day at the plate knocking in several runs. Props also go to James O'hara who made a diving catch in the outfield and promptly turned it into a double-play by gunning it to first to end the inning.
Seacoast also beat Dedham, MA 5-2 in the first game behind the solid pitching of Jake Bullard who went the entire game.
