Shapiro: Tweedie is a Conservative Candidate I Trust to Send to Concord
Letter writer says the state Senate candidate has more than two decades of experience on the opioid crisis front lines.

HAMPTON, NH — I am supporting Ray Tweedie for state Senate because he is the conservative candidate that I trust to work on our behalf in Concord and because he is the only candidate in the Republican primary with experience fighting the opioid epidemic.
Ray has dedicated over 20 years to volunteer work on the Seacoast, worked with a number of non-profits and most recently became a board member at Hope on Haven Hill, a hospital dedicated to treating opioid-addicted pregnant women and new mothers.
Ray’s involvement with Hope on Haven Hill not only tells me that he is committed to helping solve the opioid crisis, but that he truly cares about the people in this state. The opioid crisis is a complicated issue and we need someone who has experience working with law enforcement, elected officials, non-profits, and the private sector to solve problems and who also understands that addiction cannot be solved with broad public policy initiatives or throwing tax dollars at the problem. We need to be focused and willing to work together to solve this issue and I believe Ray will provide the new, conservative leadership we need in Concord to achieve this.
