SUV Crash Knocks Out Power in Hampton

Landing Road was closed for a number of hours this morning, according to alerts.

HAMPTON, NH - A motor vehicle accident knocked out power to parts of Hampton this morning, according to alerts online.

Hampton Police posted a photo of the crash on Twitter at just after 3 a.m. on May 19, 2016. Landing Road was closed between Winnacunnect Road and Route 101 while Unitil was called in to fix the pole.

The company was called to the scene and estimated that they will be finished working on the pole around noontime. Power was restored to the area at 6:30 a.m., according to a company post on Twitter.

Speed limits on the road are down to 25 mph due to the repair work, according to police.
