Why are you seeking elective office?

I have expertise specific to the position sought and time to devote to public service.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

In my opinion, the most pressing problem is inconsistent application and enforcement of existing rules. I would encourage stricter enforcement of ordinances, better communication between the Planning Board, Zoning Board, and Building Department, and equal treatment for all applications.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have a more comprehensive working knowledge of the full spectrum of state and local requirements that apply to development.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

How do you think local officials performed in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

47 years in the land use business.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Do the right thing, and let go of the result.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

In addition to being qualified to serve on the Planning Board, I am honest, unbiased, and willing to put in the time to do the job right.
