Why are you seeking elective office?

To do what I can to improve living and doing business in New Hampshire. Having been inside state government for six years I have suggestions for Gov Sununu how to restructure state services for greater effectiveness and reduced costs, an extension of consulting I did in my own business consulting. In addition, I have a plan that will add an additional $250 million from expanded statewide entertainment, funds that can retire the developmentally disabled "wait list" each year, along reduce citizens' taxes.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

State services, especially for the those most in need, available locally. I plan to introduce reorganization legislation.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have the time and experience in NH government and outside in private business that together allows me to hit the ground running with legislation filed this fall for consideration at the legislative session in January, 2021.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Hampton current state reps and senator have all voted multiple times for an income tax and all voted for the state to dictate personnel policies for NH businesses. My position: NO INCOME TAX. NO INCREASE IN GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IN BUSINESS.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

Law and order, citizens deserve safety and security. Less government and less government intrusion in our lives is my mantra. The government works for the people, the people are not beholden to the government.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Having had the job for six years, being recognized for accomplishments and brought into House leadership my last two year term. As a member of the majority I have been contacted to once again return to a leadership position in Finance.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

Every vote in the legislature pertains to: People or Things. We are put here to serve others key votes and votes for things should be made only when the things are used to serve the people. Tough decisions all.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a conservative and vote accordingly. However, when issues involve people, especially the most needy, I vote for better lives for all.
