Sacred Heart School, located in Hampton but serving children from Kensington to Seabrook to Newmarket and beyond, has announced the official kick off of its annual auction to be held on Friday, April 14, in the school gymnasium.

The theme, "Angels Among Us," is a nod to all of the children who, throughout its 49-year history, have been representatives of the excellence SHS brings to education and to our communities.

Setting the tone for the school’s annual fundraising event is the generous donation of an incredible vacation by AAA Northern New England Travel, of Portsmouth, and Royal Caribbean International.

The highest bidder could walk away with a four- or five-day Royal Caribbean Cruise for two sailing to the Caribbean and Bahamas. Other live auction items include theater tickets to Billy Elliot with a limo and a night’s stay at the Liberty Hotel and an overnight at the Boston Harbour Hotel paired with a $200 gift certificate to the Capital Grille.

New this year is the chance to win a half-carat total weight pair of beautiful diamond earrings or a vast selection of wines that would make any wine cellar envious.

The night continues after the auction winds down with local band The OB’s, who will play from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Dinner will be provided by The Outback Restaurant and there will be a cash bar on-site. Opportunities to advertise in the Auction Program are also available for businesses and, of course, donations for the Silent or Live Auctions are always welcome!
