Tweedie: My Husband Brings the Widest Array of Experiences to the Table
Writer says, as a veteran, she knows the meaning of integrity and character and the state Senate candidate embodies those qualities.

RYE, NH — My name is Alissa Tweedie and my husband and amazing father to our children, Ray Tweedie, is running to be your next state Senator from District 24.
I want to set the record straight about my husband: yes, he has made mistakes, but his critics and opponents leave out most of the story. In short, my husband went through a very tough time as single dad in his early 20s, but he won custody of our oldest child, which is darn near impossible in this state.
I am a decorated veteran of the United States Navy. I served for 10 years and I can tell you beyond a doubt that I know the meaning of integrity and character and my husband embodies those qualities. He has shown this through his actions and volunteer work over the last 20 years whether they be in the nonprofit world or the three years he volunteered at Rye Elementary for our oldest child. Ray’s experiences with non-profits have equipped him with the skills necessary to be a leader in Concord when discussing the opioid crisis. Ray is a board member at Hope on Haven Hill which will be opening a level 3.5 hospital to serve opioid addicted pregnant women. Ray has helped HHH navigate through state government, fundraise, and raise awareness.

Ray is passionate about solving this crisis facing our state and his background as a banker, locally elected official and with non-profits such as Hope on Haven Hill make him the candidate in the race that brings the widest array of experiences to the table.
My husband will bring his passion, knowledge and dedication to Concord and get to work for us. Please join me at the polls on September 13th and support Ray Tweedie for State Senate.
