Victoria Arlen Appears on Anderson Cooper 360°
Arlen, a gold medal-winning Paralympic swimmer, was excluded from a world swimming competition last month.

Exeter's Victoria Arlen, a gold medal-winning Paralympic swimmer, appeared on the CNN show Anderson Cooper 360° Friday after she was excluded from a world swimming competition last month.
Arlen was ruled ineligible for the World Swimming Championships in Montreal, Canada after a doctor ruled she wasn't disabled enough.
Arlen is in a wheelchair after suffering from the spinal cord disease transverse myelitis.
Arlen said on the show the decision was based on "the chance that I might walk again."
"Nothing has changed in the last 7 years and it's not going to change any time soon," she said.

Exeter officials called her exclusion an "injustice."
