VIDEO: Hampton Academy Back in Session

The first day of school Tuesday was much like many other first days of school: students unenthusiastically waking early for the first time all summer, teachers anxiously laying out their curriculum for the year, buses rumbling by Hampton and North Hampton houses.

Tuesday did mark a significant first, though.

Hampton's ,  and  all held their first sessions under , while it was business as usual for and under .

Tuesday also marked the beginning of a school year in which Hampton Academy a change made in order to receive state approval.
