VIDEO: North Hampton Gets Out School Vote
District officials expect late voter surge after quiet morning.
The Annual School District Meeting election is in progress, with polls at the North Hampton School set to close at 7 tonight. Supporters of school board candidates tell Patch this morning that the polls should get busier by the end of the workday.
District Moderator William Boesch said, shortly before noon, that around 212 people had voted.
Scott Williams and Phelps Fullerton, two of those holding signs to support Winnacunnet School Board candidate Leslie Lafond, said some of the ebb and flow of Election Day is to be expected. Come 4 or 5, though, Williams said he would work some phones to try to get out fellow voters.
