Weather Nips Topless Beach Gathering
Reports: "Free the Nipple" protest at Hampton Beach a bit of a bust.

What was supposed to be a gathering of more than 1,000 people interested in free expression and a desire to de-sexualize a part of the female anatomy turned out to be a bit of a bust today, according to press reports including Reuters.com.
About 20 to 30 people showed up at Hampton Beach on Aug. 23, 2015, to stress the importance of gender equality and socially acceptable breastfeeding with women going topless and men wearing tape on their nipples as a show of support as part of International Go Topless Day. The weather – random showers and rain – dampened the festivities but some spirited individuals did attend, according to the reports.
Kia Sinclair and Heidi Lilley planned the New Hampshire event and started a Facebook page with more than 1,300 people saying that would be in attendance. Sinclair posted a video stating that she was putting the event together to challenge the double standard that allowed men to be topless but women to be clothed.
