Weldon, O’Kane: Please Vote For Chauncey In North Hampton

Chauncey is a business owner, budget committee member, and advocates for the taxpayer.

From The City of North Hampton: North Hampton voters have a clear choice on Election Day March 13th. We can continue to increase spending and taxes with Larry Miller, or we can vote for George Chauncey and regain control over town budgets.

Spending has increased 23% since Larry Miller has been in office. That increased spending is unsustainable. Larry also continues to advocate for a massive Town Complex, which will lock in higher costs and higher taxes.

In contrast, George Chauncey actively advocates for the taxpayer. George led the town’s “Chauncey Committee,” which developed a reasonable and affordable way to renovate and upgrade town buildings to meet our safety, library and administration needs. George is also a business owner, member of the North Hampton budget committee, and has served in many other civic roles supporting North Hampton. George treats people with respect and works with people to build consensus.

Last year we elected Kathy Kilgore as Selectman because she listens to us and is willing to hit the brakes on spending. We think Kathy deserves a fellow Selectman who will, like her, listen, respect town residents and advocate for the taxpayers while being responsive to the needs of everyone in town.

We need more “Yankee Common Sense” on the Select board in North Hampton. Please vote George Chauncey for Selectman on Tuesday March 13th.
