Patch chatted with the Keeper of the Cup before Saturday's parade.
Phil Pritchard has had the Stanley Cup in his hands more times than any other person in history, although he's never once lifted it over his head.
That's because Pritchard is the curator of the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is most famously known as the "Keeper of the Cup." Part of Pritchard's job is to travel with sport's most storied trophy to various events, parties, and of course, to present it annually to the National Hockey League's .
The right to lift the silver trophy overhead is something for which players pray, bleed and sweat their entire careers, and Pritchard said he'll never lift the Stanley Cup over his head because he won't win that championship right.
