Today’s seacoastonline article on Pulitzer Prize and Emmy Award winning journalist Hendrick Smith’s local tour for his book “Who Stole the American Dream”, reinforced my own motivation for having run for local office.
This article describes Smith local itinerary, and I encourage all to try to attend at least one of them. If you can’t attend, consider watching this one-hour presentation on book-tv online. Better still, watch it online and attend one of his local events. You might find yourself motivated to do something about it, because only you, the people, can fix this problem.
By attending an event like this, you probably will discover others attending with similar concerns. Who knows, you might find yourself in new meaningful relationships pursuing a purpose greater than yourself. Acting positively is an essential good, both for you and all of us.
