Will Patriots or Giants Win Super Bowl XLVI? [POLL]

The rematch of the 2008 Super Bowl is on Feb. 5.

On Sunday, the New England Patriots and the New York Giants each won thrilling conference championship games to earn trips to Super Bowl XVLI in Indianapolis on Feb. 5.

It would be hard to say either team got their victories without a bit of luck, though.

Patriots QB Tom Brady struggled through most of the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens. Up 23-20 with seconds left, the Pats defense stood tall and Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff missed a 32-yard field goal that would have likely sent the contest to overtime.

For the Giants, QB Eli Manning and his offense were able to capitalize on two major errors by San Francisco 49ers punt returner Kyle Williams. He muffed one punt leading to a touchdown and fumbled another in overtime, setting up the game-winning field goal for the Giants 20-17 victory.

The Patriots will have a change to avenge their loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII, when the Pats were less than two minutes away from a perfect 19-0 season before the Giants came back for a stunning 17-14 upset victory.

New Hampshire is Patriots country, but no question the region is also blanketed by Giants fans, which should make for a great two weeks of a bitter rivalry's renewal before the big game.
