
In this hands-on class you will transform a plain white silk scarf (14x72 inches) into a unique wearable piece of art! You’ll learn some fundamental techniques of silk dyeing to create unique patterns from soft water color effects to bold, geometric designs using alcohol inks and walnut dye.No experience is necessary; just bring your creativity, and you will walk away with a one-of-a kind silk scarf! All materials will be provided. Instructor Suzanne Gamache is accomplished in the use of alcohol inks for painting on both paper and silk.
Reservations are required as this learning experience is open to 20 participants from 12 years - adult at a cost of $30.00 per person for one scarf.
