35th Annual Kids Fishing Derby
Kids 14 years of age and under have an opportunity to fish for quality-stocked Rainbow and Brook Trout, with the opportunity to win prizes.
35th ANNUAL KIDS' FISHING DERBY This is a free event open to members of the public. Kids 14 years of age and under can come and fish, catching stocked quality Rainbow and Brook Trout at Jim Cates Pond.
Prizes will be awarded in various age categories. Gates open at 8:00 AM and hooks go into the water at 9:00 AM. Prizes awarded at the conclusion of the Derby. Winners do not need to be present to receive prizes, provided a phone number is included with entry.
Participants are encouraged to bring fishing poles and bait. (Some minimal bait will be available at a nominal cost).

Food and beverages are available at the LFGC Snack Bar for a nominal cost.
Derby concludes at 12:00 noon where prizes will be awarded.
