Alzheimer’s Association Welcomes Londonderry Native as Student Intern
Shannelle Ruggiero will be the org's Community Outreach Intern for the spring semester of 2017.

LONDONDERRY, NH — The Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter has enlisted Londonderry, New Hampshire native Shannelle Ruggiero as a Community Outreach Intern for the spring semester of 2017, according to a press statement. Rugiero is a senior at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Communication with a minor in Public Relations.
As a Community Outreach Intern, Ruggiero’s responsibilities include building relationships with local companies and the Associaiton as well as reaching out to the community for support, donations and participants for the RIDE to End Alzheimer's and the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
“I decided to intern with the Alzheimer's Association because I have always enjoyed helping others and giving back to the community. What better way to give back, than to support and work toward an important cause in hopes to live in a world without Alzheimer's disease," said Ruggiero.

The Alzheimer’s Association provides education and support for families facing Alzheimer’s and is the leading non-profit funder of research into causes, cures and an eventual treatment for Alzheimer’s. Offices are located in Waltham, Raynham, Springfield and Worcester, MA and Bedford.
