Londonderry Lancers on Ice

Are you ready for some HOCKEY? With the NHL at a standstill, the best games in town are at the Verizon Center Arena! On Sunday, December 9th at 3p, not only will the viewing audience be treated to some spectacular hockey between the Manchester Monarchs and the Worcester Sharks, but they will also be entertained by none other than Londonderry’s own marching band and color guard. The band and color guard, over 300 members strong, will fill sections 201, 202 and 226 creating a patriotic vision of red, white and blue, fitting for those playing the National Anthem to start off the game, at one balcony end of the arena. The marching band and color guard will once again take to the ice to perform during the first intermission, as has become the tradition.
They have been given the opportunity to sell tickets in sections 203, 204 and 225 to the general public. These tickets are available at a special discounted price of $12 (face value $20) and can be purchased by contacting Mary Wing Soares at 603-247-1679 or by email at mjws2000@gmail.com. Tickets will also be available Wednesday, November 7th, and December 5th, before the Friends of Music meeting at 6:30pm at Londonderry High School.
