Town Won't Hire New Community Development Director
The department has been without a director since Andre Garron resigned last year.

Acting Town Manager and Police Chief William Hart said Friday that the town will not be hiring a new community development director at this time.
Instead, the town has decided to restructure the Planning and Economic Development Department, giving the three existing department employees additional responsibilities. Outside contractors will be used for economic development services as needed.
"We're looking to keep that model for the foreseeable future," Hart said, which could wind up being anywhere between two and five years.

Town Planner Cynthia May will now serve as town planner and department manager, GIS Manager John Vogl will serve as GIS planner, and Jaye Trottier, who had been the department's clerk, will serve as an associate planner.
Hart said the Londonderry Town Council approved the reorganization at its meeting on Feb. 11.
