The Bobby Livingston Band Holds CD Release Party at Tupelo

Band debuts new recording, "High and Away," at free show on Nov. 5, in Londonderry.

Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry will be filled with the soulful, inspired gritty, rock ‘n’ blues sounds of The Bobby Livingston Band when they celebrate the release of their debut CD High and Away on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Along with Bobby Livingston and his talented band, the evening will also include performances by Chris Lester, Famous Jane featuring guitar legend Hank Decken, Kim Riley, and Tammy Lynn and Myles High. This a free, 21-plus show but The Bobby Livingston Band will be selling their CDs. The Tupelo Music Hall is located at 2 Young Road, Londonderry.

Fronted by singer/songwriter Bobby Livingston, his band is comprised of Steve Baker (of Beatlejuice fame) on keyboards, Mike Dupont on drums, Jon Bruner on bass, Scott Gibbs on guitar, and Kim Riley on backing vocals, who are joined on the recording by Chris Lester on slide guitar, mandolin, percussion, and backing vocals, along with guest backing vocalists Lisa Guyer and Laurie Geltman – both well-known names in the New England music scene. This strong lineup teamed with Bobby’s powerful and heartfelt lyrics result in a full, layered, and impassioned Americana/blues rock sound that is as equally filled with energy as it is introspection.
