Through Children’s Eyes is a poignant multi-media presentation that brings to life the children’s poetry from the Terezin concentration camp through music, accompanied by their powerful drawings and paintings. The documentary chronicles the creation of this unique piece and the extraordinary journey that led to a once—in-a-lifetime concert held in the Attic Theater, the site of historical musical performances during World War II. Please join us for the East Coast premiere of this powerful documentary. We will be joined via Zoom by David Shukiar, ASCAP for a fascinating insight into this production as well as a Q&A period. This is a must-attend event. Come hear the story of how this concert came to life and the even more incredible story of how the concert was performed in the historic Attic Theater deep in the concentration camp of Theresienstadt. Light refreshments will be served. This is a free program, and recommended for ages 12 and up.
