There will be bargains galore and low prices at the Bedford Women’s Club “Whale of a Sale” on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bedford Town Hall, 70 Bedford Center Road. We’re offering a “Sneak-a-Peek” again this year — for only $5, early guests may have a preview of the hidden treasures that await between 8:15 and 9 a.m.!
The Bedford Town Hall will come alive with eager bargain hunters searching through a treasure trove of hidden gems, remarkable finds, and great deals! Whether you’re searching for vintage furniture, collectibles, children’s toys, tools, books, clothing, or kitchen gadgets, you never know what discoveries await you. And you might just find that long-lost vinyl record you’ve been hunting for to make your collection complete.

Established in 1905, the Bedford Women’s Club provides an opportunity for Bedford women to meet socially and pursue many activities. The more than 20 interest groups include book club, Scrabble, bridge, mahjong, hiking, snowshoeing, knitting and crocheting, genealogy, and couple’s brunch. 
The BWC has a long-standing commitment to philanthropy, and proceeds from the event will be directed toward supporting local charities and scholarships. Calling all Mah Jongg Mavens! You’re invited to a Mah Jongg Tournament on Sunday, April 26, 2026, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Join us for a fun-filled day of tiles, prizes and friendship! Entry fee is $30.There will be 4 rounds of game play, 4 games per 1-hour round. There will be prizes for placement, a 50/50 raffle and additional raffles, and sandwiches, desserts and refreshments. Sign up by April 12, 2026! Doors open and check-in 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

Join us at 5:30 PM for Family Shabbat and free pizza dinner followed by potluck desserts. Our Book Bubbe, Leslie Kirshman, will read a story, and Shabbat service will be led by Rabbinical Candidate Lisë Stern. The family service will be followed by a Kabbalat Shabbat service at 7:15 PM.
