Car Chase Leads to Meth Lab Materials in a Trunk

Officers from Manchester, Londonderry, and New Hampshire State Police, all involved in the pursuit.

The Manchester Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle from Florida on Goffsfalls Road on Sept. 3, that eventually led to a wild chase through Londonderry and then back into Manchester, according to Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography.

After attempting to make the stop, the vehicle fled into Londonderry and police there joined the pursuit. New Hampshire State Police also joined in. The vehicle was traveling at speeds of as high as 70 mph on city and town streets, according to Hastings.

The vehicle headed back into Manchester and later, crashed at Kenard and Mammoth Roads.

There were reportedly two men and a woman in the car and they fled the scene. K9 units were called in and all three were caught a short time later.

Manchester Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene for a possible haz mat situation after chemicals were found in the trunk of the car, allegedly consistent with materials found in a meth lab. The scene was sealed and the DEA called in.
