Chamber Hosts Health and Wellness Expo Oct. 3

The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce will host the 3rd Annual Greater Derry Londonderry Health & Wellness Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, in the Field House at Pinkerton Academy in Derry.

Sponsored by Parkland Medical Center, this year’s expo is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and learn about the many businesses and organizations in our region that focus on issues pertaining to health care, fitness and exercise, alternative medicine, active living, health insurance, sports programs, home health, eye, ear and dental care, healthy eating, and more.

Featured at the expo will be informational and interactive displays. Great American Restaurants’ Chef Nicole perform a healthy cooking demonstration, with samples available for attendees. And outside the expo, a small farmer’s market will be held.

“There will be something for everyone - kids, adults, seniors, and businesses,” said Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce President Will Stewart. “If you’re interested in your health and the health of those you love - and who isn’t - you won’t want to miss the 3rd Annual Greater Derry Londonderry Health & Wellness Expo.”
