Chamber Publishes Derry-Londonderry Beer, Mead Tour Rack Card
Tourism piece promotes region's four breweries and one meadery.

Looking to promote both tourism-related economic development and the region’s growing craft beer and mead scene, the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce has published a Derry-Londonderry Beer & Mead Tour rack card.
The four-inch-by-nine-inch card highlights the region’s four craft breweries - 603 Brewery (Londonderry), From the Barrel Brewery (Londonderry), Kelsen Brewing Company (Derry), and Rockingham Brewing Company (Derry) - and Moonlight Meadery (Londonderry).
“The greater Derry-Londonderry region has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to local beer and mead,” said Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce President Will Stewart. “It’s been our little secret for a while, but now we want to share our local libations with everyone else.”

The Derry-Londonderry Beer & Mead Tour rack card is aimed primarily at the many tourists who drive through the region on I-93 either en route to, or returning from, the state’s Lakes Region and White Mountains. Indeed, of the four breweries and one meadery promoted via the card, are all located very close to either Exit 4 or Exit 5, the farthest one still less than two miles away from an Interstate exit.
“I don’t know of any other location in the state, or anywhere else for that matter, that has five such establishments in such close proximity both to the Interstate and each other,” said Stewart, who noted that it is very likely that travelers who stop to visit one or more of the profiled breweries and meadery might also eat at a local restaurant, shop at a local store, or fill up at a local gas station before resuming their journey.
