UPDATED: Construction Worker Injured at Market Basket Site
Emergency alerts saying injury has been reported on Garden Lane in Londonderry.
Londonderry Fire and Police responded to the construction site between the new and old Market Basket off Garden Drive for a male in a construction trench.
Immediately DHART was requested with what was described as a serious injury to a male. The injury was described as a male with metal impaled thru his groin to his abdomen with no exit wound.
The DHART copter landed, was loaded quickly and flew to an unknown Boston Hospital. More information as it is issued.

Fire and rescue teams are being called to a traumatic injury alert at Garden Lane in Londonderry, the site of a Market Basket. The incident occurred at around 2:45 p.m. on nov. 10, 2015. A construction worker has possibly been impaled, according to the alert. A medical helicopter is also being called to the scene.
