Derry Man Arrested on Numerous Drug Dealing Charges
Nashua Police arrest Joseph Girouard along with six others in drug sweep of the Gate City.

NASHUA, NH - A local man was arrested yesterday for allegedly dealing heroin in Nashua, according to a press statement.
Joseph Girouard, 27, of Chester Road in Derry, was arrested on April 28, 2016, on three counts of acts prohibited: sale of a controlled drug (heroin), all felonies, four counts of operating without a valid license, and an electronic bench warrant for failure to appear at arraignment on an operating without a valid license charge.

Girouard was arrested after members of the Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division, Problem Oriented Policing Unit and Traffic Unit conducted a Combined Drug Impact Initiative, arresting seven individuals were arrested for various drug crimes.

Girouard was out on bail still awaiting trial for two separate felony drug related investigations prior to this arrest, according to police. The first in December 2015 for three counts of sales of heroin/fentanyl and the other April 14, 2016 for possession of heroin.
Girouard was held on $20,000 cash bail and was arraigned this morning 9th Circuit District Court.
Residents of Nashua, Merrimack, and Tyngsboro, MA, were also arrested in the sweep, according to Nashua NH Patch.
