Derry Man Charged with Six Counts of Theft

• 7:56 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Hall Road.
• 11:28 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident with no injury on Route 28.
• 12:54 p.m.: Daniel L. Marchant, 31, of 13L Strawberry Hill Road, Derry was arrested on a warrant and charged with six counts of theft and one count of forgery. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on April 1.
• 1:22 p.m.: Police received a report of a 2-car accident with no injury on Nashua Road.
• 2:26 p.m.: Charles Edward Abbott, 42, of 7 Linlew Drive, Apt. #18, Derry was arrested on a warrant and charged with theft and criminal mischief (vandalism). He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on April 1.
• 2:59 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident with injury on Pillsbury Road.
• 3:01 p.m.: Brent Kelly McConnell, 45, of 72 Chester Road, Derry was arrested on a warrant and charged with theft and criminal mischief (vandalism).He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on April 1.
• 3:25 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle into a tree on Sargent Road.
• 4:34 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Nashua Road.
• 5 p.m.: Joshua Moore, 26, of 15 Pleasant Valley, Amesbury, Mass. was charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle. He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on April 1.
