Elderly Woman Found Murdered In Derry: NH Attorney General

State officials are investigating the death of Ellen Munstis, 74, who was found deceased Saturday inside her home on the Route 28 Bypass.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and the Derry Police are investigating a homicide involving an elderly woman who was found deceased Saturday. Police were called to the Route 28 Bypass in Derry at just after midnight after a 911 call from the home. Inside, police found Ellen Munstis, 74, dead of "apparent gunshot wounds," according to Kate Spiner, the public information officer for the NH AG's Office.

"At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat of danger to the public," she said.

Investigators are expected to release more information about the case soon.
