Firefighters responded to a report of a building fire on South Avenue in Derry on Tuesday morning. The fire was first reported around 11:30 p.m. at 12 South Ave., according to emergency radio broadcasts. The fire was knocked down within minutes, though crews remained on scene afterward for clean up.

The blaze on South Avenue was extinguished within minutes.
