Fourth Festivities Mean a Slow Week in Londonderry
The Town Council and Planning Board aren't meeting, and Town Hall will be closed on Thursday for the holiday.
1. NO TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY: The Town Council will not meet on Monday night. The council meets only once in July, on Monday, July 15.
2. NO PLANNING BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY: The Planning Board meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled. The board's next meeting will be on Wednesday, July 10.
3. TOWN HALL CLOSED THURSDAY: Londonderry Town Hall will be closed on Thursday for the Fourth of July Holiday.

4. HOLIDAY PROMPTS TRASH PICKUP DELAY: Londonderry trash pickup will be delayed one day for the Fourth of July holiday. Thursday's pickup will be Friday and Friday's pickup will be Saturday. As always, all trash should be placed curbside by 7 a.m.
5. FIREWORKS IN DERRY THURSDAY: Londonderry does not have Fourth of July fireworks, but Derry does. Derry's Fourth of July fireworks will be held on Thursday at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.), with the best suggested viewing areas along Tsienneto Road, Hood Commons, Folsom Road and Crystal Avenue.
