Hannaford Recalls Mango Products

Items were removed from shelves but check 'sell by' dates and PLU #.

All products potentially impacted by a recall of mangos have been removed from shelves at Hannaford Supermarkets.

Splendid Products voluntarily recalled Daniella mangos this week due to possible salmonella contamination. Hannaford has removed the affected produce, which would have a sticker with PLU No. 4051.

In addition, five packaged produce items that contain mangos have been removed from shelves at Hannaford stores. These packaged fruit items are:

Hannaford Mango Spears, 16 oz. package; Hannaford Fruit Burst, 20 oz. package, Hannaford Fruit Burst, 10 oz. package, Hannaford Fruit Burst, 4 pound package, Hannaford Tropical Medley, 16 oz. package. All these items will have sell-by dates of August 28.

Customers who may have purchased these products are urged to dispose of the items and bring the receipt or sticker to their store for a full refund. These products should not be consumed.
