Houston Burglary Fugitive Arrested Inside NH Motel Room
Larry Woods was arrested on Sunday inside the Super 8 Motel on Brown Avenue in Manchester after police received an anonymous tip.

MANCHESTER, NH — A fugitive from justice, living on School Street in Manchester, was arrested at a local motel this weekend on a burglary warrant out of Texas, according to police. Larry Woods, 50, was arrested on Jan. 14, 2018, after police in the Queen City received an anonymous tip that he might be staying at a local motel, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. Police were sent to the Super 8 Motel on Brown Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday to check out the tip.

“Dispatch confirmed an extraditable burglary warrant out of Houston, TX, after receiving the anonymous crime tip, so officers responded to the South End hotel in an attempt to locate Woods,” he noted.

Woods was reportedly found inside of a room and taken into custody without incident. O'Keefe noted that he gave police a School Street address at the time of his arrest. Woods was charged with being a fugitive from justice and was scheduled to be arraigned today in Manchester District Court.
