I-93 Down to One Lane After Crash

Three people were transported to area hospitals after a major two-car crash on I-93 in Londonderry about two miles from the split with I-293, according to Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography, who took these shots at the scene.

At around 4:15 p.m. on July 3, 2015, fire and rescue teams were called to the crash. Two people were taken by ambulance to the Elliot Hospital; one was medflighted to Boston. A fourth person with minor injuries was also taken to the Elliot.

I-93 was closed for about an hour and the backup was estimated to be about 10 miles. One lane of the highway is now open, according to Hastings.
