Local Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Competitors Win at the NH Championship
Team Woo BTT competed at the Good Fight's, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Sub-Only, New Hampshire Championship in Derry on March 23, 2018.
Team Woo competed at The Good Fight's New Hampshire Championship at The Sports Zone: 7 A St. Derry, NH 03038 on March 23, 2018. This is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Sub-Only tournament. Someone has to give up to determine a winner.
Christopher Merheb, from Woo Kickboxing's Teen MMA, earned 1st place in the Teens NoGi Beginner (13-15 yrs) 139-153 lbs division and 2nd place in the Teens NoGi Beginner (13-15 yrs) 128-139 lbs division. This was a successful Sub-Only debut for Mr. Merheb.
Amber Famisan earned 3rd place in both the White Belt Gi and NoGi (16-29 yrs) Bantam Weight (135 lbs) divisions.

Shawn Pond earned 2nd place in the Blue Belt Gi (16-29 yrs) Welter (170 lbs) division.
Alyssa Marini earned 2nd place in both the Blue Belt Gi and NoGi (16-29 yrs) Feather (145 lbs) divisions.

Adam Theokas earned 2nd place in both the Blue Belt Gi and NoGi (30-39 yrs) Heavy Weight (206+ lbs) divisions.
Jerry Kerr earned 2nd place in the Blue Belt Gi (30-39 yrs) Middle Weight (185 lbs) division.
Ed Tapia earned 1st place in both the Blue Belt Gi (40+ yrs) Heavy Weight (206+ lbs) division and 1st place in the NoGi (40+ yrs) Light Heavy Weight (186-205 lbs) division.
Ben Simon earned 3rd place in the Blue Belt Gi (16-29 yrs) Welter Weight (170 lbs) division, 3rd place in the Blue Belt NoGi (16-29 yrs) Light Weight (155 lbs) division and 2nd place exhibition NoGi (30-39 yrs) Middle Weight (185 lbs). Woo Kickboxing of Londonderry specialize in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Woo Kickboxing and Teen's MMA. They have classes for the entire family. Woo Kickboxing of Londonderry's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighters compete under the name Team Woo and are now led by Professor Joe Kvetkosky.
